Northern Tama County Treasures Trip


Join us for an afternoon trip to visit Gladbrook’s Matchstick Marvels and Traer’s Salt and Pepper Gallery! We will depart from the IVCCD south parking traveling first to Gladbrook. At Matchstick Marvels we will enjoy a video showing how artist Pat Acton creates his works of art from matchsticks. Then we will view actual creations featuring the U.S. Capitol, a space shuttle, ships and others. At Traer we will learn about the 14,000+ salt and pepper shakers of many themes and concepts. No two are alike. Come have fun with us. Snacks, admission, and bus trip included. $20 for Creative Retirement members.
