This 8-hour class covers the National Electrical Code requirements for commercial, institutional, and industrial wiring, beginning with general requirements and continuing through branch circuit, feeder, and service installation, grounding and bonding, conductor sizing and installation, overcurrent protection, box and conduit sizing, conduit and raceway types and installation rules, cable tray requirements, switches and receptacles, panelboards, luminaires, appliances, electric heating equipment, motors, air conditioners, equipment disconnecting means, and requirements for transformer installations.  Also covered are requirements for optional standby systems, Class 1, 2, and 3 remote control and signaling systems, and communications systems. Participants must bring a copy of the 2017 NEC, highlighters, notebook, and pencils
