Nurse Aide Skills Competency Exam

Successful completion of this exam meets one of the state requirements for person seeking employment as a nurse aide in a long-term care facility in Iowa. A score of 70% or higher is considered passing. Students must show photo ID prior to testing and have a watch with a second hand. Students are encouraged to wear their uniform. Each student will need to know their specific 1-hour exam time and arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the exam time.

Please read:  Test Times:1000am, 1100am, 1230pm, 130 pm and 230pmRegistration closes by 4pm 2 days prior to start date. • Exam candidates cancelling or rescheduling 48 hours prior to the exam, will be charged a fee. • Exam candidates cancelling or rescheduling within 48 hours of the exam, will not be issued a refund. Those exam candidates will be responsible for paying for the new exam. • Exam candidates will not be issued a refund for missed exams.
