Basic Welding

During this course, you will learn proper weld safety, machine setup and basic welding techniques for stick and wire welding along with MIG (GMAW) processes in 36 hours.  Must wear leather shoes, long sleeves & long pants.  No prior welding experience necessary.  Price includes material and lab fees.  This course is required to participate in open lab.  Funding may be available for eligible participants; for more information, call 641-844-5629.

Please read:  Students will be learning how to use 6010 and 7018 rods during the stick welding segment. There will not be classes held on 5/10, 5/24 or 5/27.
